Had a need for a mindmapping application and found view your mind in the archive. Works but the version is a bit rusty. Sadly my Debian packaging skills are a bit rusty as well, especially when it comes to bigger GUI applications. Thus I spent a good chunk of yesterday afternoon to rip out cdbs and package the last source release on github which is right now 2.9.22 (the release branch already has 2.9.27, still sorting that out). Git repository and a amd64 build of the current state. It still deserves some additional love, e.g. creating a -common package for arch indep content. Proposed a few changes upstream: spelling fixes .desktop file improvements small adjustments for the documentation installation via cmake Also pinged pollux@ who uploaded vym up to 2019 if he'd be fine if I pick it up. If someone else is interested, I'm also fine to put it up on salsa in the general "Debian" group for shared maintenance. I guess I will use it in the future, but time is still a scarce resource for all of us.

✨Mind Map Tutorial✨! 📖✍🏼🫶🏼 In this video, we'll guide you through the steps to create an effective and visually appealing mind map. Mind mapping is a fantastic tool for brainstorming, organizing information, and unlocking your creativity. Let's get started!
1. Start with a Blank Canvas 🗒️: Begin with a blank sheet of paper or a digital canvas. This is your space to explore and expand your ideas.
2. Write Your Main Idea✏️💡: Place your main idea or topic in the center of the canvas. Make it stand out by writing it in bold letters or using a different color.
3. Draw Branches for Categories: From your central idea, draw branches outwards. These branches represent different categories or subtopics related to your main idea.
4. Add Keywords: On each branch, write down keywords or short phrases that relate to that subtopic. Keep your words concise to maintain clarity.
5. Incorporate Visuals🎨: Enhance your mind map with images or symbols that relate to your ideas. Visuals can help reinforce concepts and make your map more engaging.
6. Expand with Sub-Branches🌳: For more detailed exploration, add smaller branches from your main branches. This allows you to break down subtopics into even finer points.
7. Color Code🖍️: Use different colors for different branches or topics. Color coding helps differentiate between ideas and makes your mind map easier to navigate.
Your mind map is a reflection of your thought process. Feel free to experiment with layouts, styles, and colors to make it uniquely yours.
Now it's your turn! Grab your pen or open your mind mapping software and start mapping out your ideas. Remember, there are no rules set in stone – the goal is to let your creativity flow and organize your thoughts in a way that works best for you. Happy mind mapping! 🫶🏼💡📝👩🏻💻 #study #studytok #studywithme #studygram #college #university #student #collegelife #studygpt #learnontiktok #mindmap #study #collegegotmelike #studentlife #studytips #learnitontiktok #exam #studybuddy #ai
The Cynefin Framework sets out different lenses through which circumstances can be made sense of, from 'clear' through to 'chaos'! As we have covered on previous episodes of the show (CR020 & CR003), it is very useful for helping frame and understand the shift to “digital”.
This week, Dave, Sjoukje, and Rob talk to Rob England and Cherry Vu, who are Teal Unicorn and explore new ways of management, about the relevance of the Cynefin Framework in their work with organisations, the builds Rob and Cherry have made on it (with Dave Snowden!), and what results they have seen. We also talk about ways to drive additional value from the Cloud.

Small, deep and heartwarming was this 10th Ask me Anything with Joep, Reto and me.
We talked about deep topics like:
- How to approach drug (ab)use in an appreciative way? - Is it easier to unconditionally love children than adults? - Tell about the salon „Turning the Tide“ in Amsterdam in June?
Digitalisation in an inherently complex activity, with unknowns being very high and experimentation required on an ongoing basis - there is no 'once and done'. The changes in leadership framing, decision making and ways of working required are hugely under estimated in discussions and planning of 'transformation' and failure to engage with that could risk your success.
Dave, Sjoukje & Rob talk with Dave Snowden, Director and Founder of the Cynefin Centre about his work on making sense of complexity, they discuss Dave's seminal work, the Cynefin Framework, how he has subsequently built on that thinking and how you apply that it in the digitalisation process of your organisation. His insights are not to be missed.
Finally, in this weeks Trend, we set out some perceived wisdom of what is required in digital leadership and see what stacks up.

In this episode, Bridgette and Irvine explore why what Appreciative Inquiry is, why it is a vital leadership skill and how it can instill hope and optimism, even in the midst of very trying and difficult times.

Mind mapping method is one of the best ways to describe your ideas with others. Write down the topic at the centre of the page and connect all the parts of the topic with the main topic.
When you do this, now you need to describe your idea below the page and write it down in sequence.
This is a very good method to understand the ideas and describe them with others in a simple way.
In this episode, we’re going to discuss AI, not Artificial Intelligence, but the other AI, Appreciative Inquiry! We wanted to unpack what Appreciative Inquiry is and how might we use it in our role as enablers of change.

It was a pleasure to welcome new and familiar faces to this 9th Ask me Anything with Joep. We dove into the topics of:
- How to deal with overwhelm with the help of AI? - On allowing people to access their core and calling with the help of AI - How to connect to my counterpart when s/he (e.g. from boards/ministeries) creates pressure and approaches me with a need to control - Is it possible to create an AI intervention of less than an hour? - Ideas on how to approach the topic of drugs and drug abuse appreciatively
And we closed with a warm invite to join us at the Salon Event 'Turning the Tide - Doing Business in a Way that honours Life' in Amsterdam, June 16-18 2024 (https://daretoimagine.today/salon/) where, next to all things regenerative economy, we'll explore the overlaps of Appreciative Inquiry, Money Work and Source Work.
Change management workshops benefit from digital tools like Mindmeister, Lucidspark, XMind, and Canva's Mindmap Editor. These tools enhance engagement, improve visualization, and streamline collaboration for remote teams. They offer versatility, accessibility, collaboration, customization, and efficiency. However, they have limitations such as a learning curve for new users and reliance on technology. To incorporate digital mindmap tools into workshops, choose a tool that best fits the objectives and participants' familiarity, prepare participants, use the tool to brainstorm, organize ideas, develop strategies, and regularly review and share the mindmap. Despite these challenges, the benefits of enhanced collaboration, engagement, and efficiency make these tools invaluable for successful change initiatives. By integrating digital mind mapping into workshops, teams can unlock new creativity and strategic thinking levels.
