Cayo has a new clinic, and it's mobile. Check out the Twin Towns Mobile Clinic. Dr. Teck is a General Practitioner, and he can travel to the emergency. Definitely a step forward for health in Cayo. Call 633-2238 for more information.

CAWS is planning 4 clinics for spays and neuters: Saturday and Sunday, March 9th and 10th, and Tuesday and Wednesday, March 11th and 12th. They'll be held at the CNRRC at Galvez stadium. There is a minimal fee per animal of $20. Thanks, CAWS!

Rugby Belize is having a Rugby Clinic next Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at Macal River Park from 9 to 1130am. Everyone is invited.

The Rugby Tournament will be this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at Broaster stadium, starting at 11am. Florida's Lagerheads Female Rugby team will in attendance, as will the Belize Rugby teams.'

CAWS is having a spay and neuter clinic next Saturday in Bullet Tree Falls. It's only $30 per pet.

'We will be on site April 1 at 8:30 am to start registration. We cannot tell you how long it will take so be prepared to spend the day.  See the flyer for details.  Note: This clinic is intended for those people who cannot afford surgeries for their pets.  This will be a surgical clinic only.  If you have questions, please contact us in advance.'

They had a very successful weekend of free spay and neuter clinics, seeing 100's of dogs and cats.  Shelly Marin got some great pictures of the doctors and their clients.  Thanks to all that made this happen! 

"Exhausted but happy after a busy Spay and Neutre day in San Ignacio. Thanks to Clara Lee Arnold, Hopkins Humane Society and Humberto Wohlers and with the largest amount of Drs in one single clinic so far: Drs. Edwardo Tesecum, Mia Canton, Jorge Lopez, Isabelle Paquet-Durand, Angela Gimmel, Jennifer Riley and Kelly Schmitz.  About 100 dogs and cats were seen, dewormed, treated and operated today.  Now we gather up again to go get ready for one more day tomorrow."

Feelgood news of the month.  The Cayo Animal Welfare Society had a very successful series of spay and neuter clinics last week.  286 surgeries were performed over the 4 days.  Thank you, CAWS, and thank you to everyone that assisted in this monumental effort.

Cayo has a new dialysis clinic: the Ramona Linda Dialysis Clinic.  It's located on West street, and they had the grand opening today.  

This evening, at the San Ignacio Resort Hotel, there will be a comic book clinic.  The Concrete Park Comic Book Clinic starts at 5:00pm. Thanks, NICH!
