In this hour-long event, you’ll be guided by internationally renowned mixologist and Copalli Rum Brand Ambassador, Elayne Duff, as we learn to make delicious Daiquiris and Mojitos. We’ll also travel virtually to Belize to get a behind the scenes, farm-to-glass look at how Copalli makes their organic, sustainably-produced, zero carbon footprint, award-winning rum. And we’ll hear about the good works of the folks at the Copal Tree Lodge — the luxury eco-lodge that’s the home of the Copalli Distillery — where YOU could win a 3-night stay!"

The International Friends of Belize NGO has changed their name to Full Basket Belize.  They've a new name, a new logo, and a new newsletter!  They still have the same great goal, improving the education, health and environment of Belizean communities by providing educational scholarships and small project grants.  They are currently accepting grant applications.

"Full Basket Belize is pleased to announce that we are opening the application process for their 2013 Community Grant Program to continue the tradition of supporting local community projects.  Grants will be awarded to cover project costs of up to $1000 USD for projects that benefit Belizean communities in the areas of education, health (HIV/AIDS), and the environment."

Feelgood news of the day.  Full Basket Belize has decided upon this year's grant winners, and most are in Cayo.  The Belize Zoo, Eden High School, For the Children, the Santa Teresita Village Council, and the Tropical Rainforest Institute of Belize all received grants for their projects.  FBB will be accepting scholarships for the 2018-2019 school year soon, and they are asking for help with reading and grading them.  Contact them if you can.  Thanks, FBB!
