Video of the day. It's all about the 1st ever Belize Beef Fest and Rodeo, mostly the rodeo, but the grilling competition is there too. Congratulations, Miss Deb's, on winning in all 3 competitions. She'll be at her normal spot by Galvez stadium tonight with her yummy burgers.

Miss Deb's will be at the Cahal Pech Food Truck Extravaganza this Friday afternoon, and she'll have this year's food competition. Miss Deb's Gut Buster Challenge will have 16 burgers(basically her whole menu), 5 contestants, and there's only 15 minutes. Who's up for the Gut Buster Challenge? See you there.

Great list of local businesses attending next Saturday's pop-up market at Cahal Pech.  All the food trucks will be there too.  Miss Deb's, Hello Body, Papa Churros, Baby Maker drinks, and many more.  Great way to celebrate the Battle of St. George's Caye Day.  The event will go from 10am to 5pm.  The hot chip challenge will be in the afternoon.  

The 2018 Cayo Easter Fair is just 10 days away.  It'll be at the Macal River park on Saturday, the 31st of March, and Sunday, the 1st of April.  There will be food and fun for everyone, and Miss Deb's will be there.

Miss Deb's has gotten international acclaim!  A foodie from Houston happened to be in Cayo when she was set up, and she impressed yet again.  Best burger in Belize.  

Spoiler alert:  More Cayo food trucks are on their way.

Last week, I was in downtown San Ignacio in the Cayo District of western Belize on a jumping Friday night. I saw a crowd of locals lined up at a food truck. As I drew closer to see what the fuss was about, the unmistakable aroma of drive-through cooking hit me...

You won't find a McDonald's or Burger King in the whole country — not even in the Belize City airport. Subway tried a few years ago, but quickly flopped and got out of town."

The Sacred Heart PTA is doing their 2nd Fair and Expo next Saturday at Macal River Park.  They'll have it all.  Loads of informational booths about everything: from Beltraide to Social Security, from Oceana to Smart.  Miss Deb's will be there too with the best burgers around. 

Round 2 of Miss Deb's Gut Buster Challenge will be at the Cahal Pech Food Truck Festival on Saturday, September 9th. Send in a video clip letting her know what makes you a competitor. It's just under 2 weeks away.

Cahal Pech is having their 2nd annual Pop Up Shop and Food Truck Festival on Saturday, September 9th. The Food Truck Extravaganza 2 weeks ago was just a warmup. They have many local artisans lined up. Check out their flier. Miss Deb's Food Truck, Papa Churros, and Ang the Bartender will be some of the many businesses attending.

EMS Week will be celebrated with a health expo at the Santa Elena Fire Station on Saturday the 27th, from 9am to 4pm. They'll have free health checks. They'll also have free hot dogs and drinks, and a bouncy house. Miss Deb's will be there.

The Orange Gallery is having their annual Christmas sale on Saturday and Sunday, December 10th and 11th. Miss Deb's, AJAW Chocolate, Sarita, and many other businesses will be there.

Sweet Lemon is hosting the Food Truck Block Party on Friday the 22nd.  Miss Deb's, Papa Churros, Hot & Tasty Food Truck, and Yoli's Pizza will all be there.  Awesome idea!  It'll start at 5pm, and will be held at the Cahal Pech Resort parking lot.

This year's Easter Fair was set up at Macal River Park.  2 crazy fast ferris wheels, and all the normal rides and games were there.  Miss Deb's set up her meals on wheels truck, and it was delicious.
