The Pesticides Control Board is the 2023 Pesticides Awareness Week starting tomorrow the 25th. They're having an InfoFair this Wednesday at the Cayo Welcome Center from 9am to 230pm.

in related news, they're having a seminar entitled Climate Change and National Experiences in the adoption of Integrated Pest Management this Thursday at UB's Central Farm campus. It starts at 130pm. 

Video of the day.  The Pesticides Control Board, Belize has released an animated video called Eve, the Earthworm. If you want to know more about earthworms, this short video is worth a watch. Amiel Topsey animated the 3 minute video.

'There are many types of earthworms, and they all have the unique role of maintaining a healthy environment. Earthworms are biologically designed to break down organic material and release the nutrients back into the soil, their movement loosens and oxygenates the ground, and they're also indicators of soil quality.

Due to the remarkable importance of the Earthworm as bioindicators, the Pesticides Control Board #Belize, partnered up with a local animator to create a short educational video to express the earthworm's importance in visual form."
