Cayo Scoop! The Ecology of Cayo Culture

The SISE Town Council is planning Cayo's 2nd annual Cinco de Mayo celebration, and this year, it'll carry over to Sabado, seis de Mayo. They'll have live music along with tons of food and drinks. The celebration will happen on Burns avenue, and it'll go from 7pm to midnight on both nights.

''Ladies and Gentlemen, prepare yourselves for a surge of Vitamin T in your diet this May 5th... Vitamin, Tacos, Tortillas, Tostadas, Tamales, Tequila, Tortas etc etc...'

Tomorrow night, Tuesday, November 6th, Beltraide, the DFC, and the SISE Town Council will be having a Business Support Information Session for MSMEs.  It'll be at the new Cayo Welcome Center, and start at 7:30.  

The are repaving the double lane road in Santa Elena in preparation for the George Price Highway movement, and the new bridge.  It'll sure be easier to get to the Aguada.

Happy September!  The SISE Town Board, and NICH, have released fliers for the events this holiday weekend.  Combine that with Double Up promotions, and you have some amazing September Celebrations for the Battle of St. George's Caye Day.  They are also on the Cayo Event Calendar.  Have fun!

The Cayo Welcome Center is preparting for the grand opening, and the Belize Tourism Board and the SISE Town Board is doing a call for singers and dancers for the event.  They are looking for talent from the Cayo district.  There will be prizes for the performers.  Call 632-3918 or 637-0433 for more information.

Tonight in Santa Elena, the SISE town board will have a DJ competition.  They'll have prizes and...  Wait, does the ad say, "R U bad on the mic?"  No, no, no, no, no!!!  That's MC's.  MC's use a mic.  DJ's should NEVER talk.  Remember, DJ's should NEVER talk.  That would make them a horrible DJ.  Good luck!  And don't talk!
