The Belmopan Bandits are still in the running for the playoffs, and tonight they'll host the San Pedro Tiger Sharks at the UB gym, starting at 9:00pm. In related news, the Western Ballaz will be travelling to Belize City tonight to play the No Limit. The bus leaves at 5:15pm from SHC. Go Ballaz! Congratulations to Melvin Pinelo and Marvin Castillo for completing the referees training course. And congratulations to Karim Juan and David Lacey for completing the technical commissioner training.

The Westen Ballaz have their big rematch against the Tiger Sharks tomorrow. Adma Chuc, from Adma's Photography, put together a video montage with pictures from the home games. You might see yourself in one of the pictures. The match is tomorrow night at 9:00pm. Come early to see the warm up game and enjoy some great food and drinks.

The Galen Eagles had an exhibition game against the San Pedro Tiger Sharks yesterday at the Sacred Heart College auditorium. San Pedro played a great game, and won the match. In related news, the Western Ballaz are travelling to Orange Walk tomorrow to play the Orange Walk Running Rebels.

The Western Ballaz are in 2nd place after narrowly loosing to the Tiger Sharks, 70 - 75. They travel to Belize City on Friday to play the No Limit, and there's a bus for fans. "Important game this Friday, May 2nd in Belize City at Bird's Isle against Smart No Limit. This game will determine the 2nd or 3rd seed team. We need our fans to come out and support. We will have a Fan bus leaving SHC at 5:30 pm sharp. The cost is only $5. You can sign up with Shalue Butcher at Aguada or Miss Jonelle at SHC. Send us a message to let us know you need a seat."

The Belmopan Bandits host the Corozal Heat tonight at the UB Gym at 9:00pm. The league starts back up this evening. The Western Ballaz host the Tiger Sharks on Saturday. "THE LEAGUE HAS RE-SCHEDULED OUR GAME WITH COROZAL HEAT FOR THIS COMING THURSDAY!!! FANS PLEASE MAKE NOTE!!!! WEAR GREEN!!!"

It was an amazing first home game for the Western Ballaz. They kept their number 1 spot by defeating the Dangriga Warriors 63 - 52 in a high energy match that was close for much of the game. The Sacred Heart College auditorium was packed to capacity with all their Cayo fans cheering them on. The first game between SHC and SHJC went back and forth many times, with SHJC winning by 1 point. Mayor John August was in attendance and gave the inauguration speech, and Javier Gutierrez did a spectacular job as MC. Next week, the team travels to San Pedro to play the Tiger Sharks.
