The Purple Movement will be collaborating with Youth for the Future, and they'll be having a youth rally and parade to celebrate the end of Youth Week.  Saturday, starting at 10:00am at Macal River Park, they'll have the parade through the streets of Cayo, and then the rally afterwards.  Go Purple!

"Join us in the Parade and at our Rally this Saturday , November 10th, 2012!  Ceremonies start at 9 am at the Macal River Park followed by parade the Youth Rally!  Remember to wear Purple :)"

"The Belize Youth Award is a prestigious national honor bestowed on outstanding young Belizeans from age 15 to 29 who demonstrated high standards of achievement and commitment within their various fields.  The categories are: Sports, medial, Citizenship, Arts and Culture, Mentally and Physically Challenged, Youth Ministers Entrepreneurship and Academic Excellence.  The nominees come from all districts across the country.  The targeted age cohort is representative of the group for which programs are planned and implemented by the Youth Department of Belize also known as Youth for the Future."

Youth for the Future, Cornerstone Foundation, and Youth in Action are hosting a Sports Day tomorrow at Broaster Stadium.  It starts at 9:00am.  You can call the YFF at 804.0540 for more information.  Have fun!

The Belize Youth Award is a prestigious national honor bestowed upon outstanding Belizean youth between the ages of 15 and 29.  It awarded for demonstrating high standards of achievement and commitment within various categories: Sports, Media, Citizenship, Arts and Culture, Mentally and Physically Challenged, Youth Ministers Entrepreneurship and Academic Excellence.  Youth for the Future has the new nomination deadline set for Wednesday, September 5th.  The winners will be announced on the 12th.

"The deadline for nominations is September 5th.  Nomination forms can be picked up at any of the Youth for the Future offices country wide.  The winners will be presented with their certificate and plaque in Belize City at the Bliss Centre for the Performing Arts on September 12th."

Youth for the Future Belize is accepting nominations for this year's Belize Youth Awards.  Nominations can be made until August 3rd.  There are a wide range of awards from which to choose, including Youth is Sports, Youth in Media, and Youth in Agriculture.  YFF Belize is located in Benque, in the town hall.

Youth for the Future's office is now open in Benque!  Congratulations to Mr. Jimmy Leslie, who is the Youth Empowerment Coordinator.  Youth for the Future is a youth center aimed at empowering young people to pariticipate in the development of Belize.  More power to them!  You can contact them at yffbenque@gmail.com, and find them in the Benque Town Hall.
