Ariel Rosado Ride Raises Scholarship Funds

Ariel Rosado Ride Raises Scholarship Funds | Cayo Scoop! The Ecology of Cayo Culture | Scoop.it

The Ariel Rosado Memorial race was last Saturday.  They have a noble cause of helping deserving Belizean youth to accomplish their goals while developing healthy minds and bodies.  More power to them.  The race will be held every year, 3 weeks after the Holy Saturday Cross Country Cycling Classic.

"The Foundation has some lofty goals.  Dr Rosado announced that the Foundation will sponsor at least 10 Belizean students with scholarships to attend high school each year.  The criteria for selecting the scholarship recipients would be based on financial need, scholarly ability and the students´ interest in developing a healthy mind in a healthy body.  The Foundation is inviting all Belizeans-whether corporate bodies or private citizens, to help our most needy young people, who are most deserving of an opportunity to achieve their goals.  All patrons will receive a framed certificate and specific mention in all the Foundation´s activities and publications."
