The Environmental Research Institute at the University of Belize and PACT have some learning opportunities coming up.  They have a series of classes for National Ranger Training in July.  They also have a Conservation Finance class starting on the 30th of June.  They also have a couple of student internships over the Summer.  Check out their website for more information.

Central Farm, the Belize Botanic Gardens, the Belize Zoo, the Friends of Conservation and Development, the King's Children's Home, and the San Antonio Women's Group.  These are some of the places that had volunteers for 2 weeks via the Creation Care Study Program in Belize.  Their individual stories are worth a read.

 

"When you study abroad with CCSP Belize, all of the weeks are full of awesomeness, but two of them in particular are unique: internships.  Students get the opportunity to intern at a local Belizean organization for these weeks while staying at the home of a local Belizean family.  These are consistently some of the best experiences of the semester, and this time around was no exception.  Here are some thoughts from our seven very own Belizean interns."
