Kim Simplis-Barrow, the Special Envoy for Women and Children, will be coming to Cayo next week to continue the 'My Body is Precious' campaign and speak about female empowerment. She'll be in Belmopan on the 28th at the UB auditorium, and in Cayo and Benque on the 30th. This is great timing considering the horrendously idiotic comments that came from one of the Amandala writers, and the talked about boycott of the publication. Thanks, Mrs. Simplis-Barrow, we're behind you all the way!

This tour is an extension of the My Precious is Precious initiative, which started with the launch of a child friendly book on “good touch, bad touch” in April of this year."
