NatGeo has a great article, just in time for Halloween, about the Maya Underworld. Since Cayo has the most famous caves, many of them are mentioned, including Barton Creek Cave and Actun Tunichil Muknal. Worth a quick read.  'There are hundreds of caves in Belize that served as portals to what the Maya called Xibalba—home to ancient death gods, rituals, and extraordinary relics left behind.'

While Halloween in Cayo was superb, with the jungle rave, Ascenthium played at Riverside Tavern in Belize. Donnie Rockwire was there to video some of the concert. Skip to the 3 minute mark after the video loads to see the good part. The first song you'll see them play is Separate Ways. They also play We Will Rock You from Queen.

Roots Wraps and Smoothies is having their grand opening on Saturday, November 2nd. After a long Halloween Block Party on Burns, and a few hours of sleep, a smoothie will pick you back up, and get you ready for the Rotaract Haunted House at Hode's. They deliver wraps and smoothies all around Cayo for lunch, and the menu is on their page. They are located at 38 West street. Have a great grand opening.

Ms. Shalue Butcher captured some great moments during the Serendib and Mr. Greedy's Cayo Block Party. The fairies made an appearance too. What an amazing Halloween party it was.

The Rotaract Club in Belmopan had a Halloween party at the George Price Center. There sure were a lot of fun activities for the youth that went. Some cute costumes too. They even had a haunted house.
