Go Maya Belize Adventures is a new tour operator based in Cayo.  They have a pretty smooth looking website.  They are based out of Rumors Resort(which is coincidentally the featured hotel on the website), yet are catering to tours all around Belize.  They have only perfect reviews on Trip Advisor.

Cayo hotels and B&B's are all over this year's Travelers' Choice Awards, just like last year.  Cayo hotels had half of the places on the Best Bed and Breakfast list, and half on the Best Bargain Hotel list.  Congratulations to all the winners of this year's Trip Advisor awards.

Happy Valentine's Day!  There's a lot going on around Cayo tonight for Valentine's Day.  Click on the heart to go to the Cayo Event Calendar, where you can see all the dinner specials happening around town.

The San Ignacio Resort Hotel, Rumors, Rolson's, The Princess, Midas, Meluchi's, JJ's, and The Aguada are all having specials for you and your loved ones.  The Aguada is celebrating Friday and Saturday too, just in case you don't make it out tonight.  Meluchi's is having a Valentine's dance with Mistah Geeh tonight after dinner.

Cayo was well represented at BETEX 2014.  Rumors Resort, Midas Resort, Ka'ana, CAT, Maya Mountain Lodge, Windy Hill, Cahal Pech Resort, and many other Cayo lodges and tour operators had displays set up to exchange information.  Chaa Creek has a great article about BETEX.  There are also pictures that show how much went into setting up the conference.

The Cayo BTIA recently elected some new board members.  They met last week at Rumors Resort.  Congratulations to the new board.  Best of luck to you as you move forward, and promote tourism in Cayo.
