The Cayo Music School is having their annual Christmas Recital on Sunday, December 16th. It'll be at the San Ignacio Resort Hotel, and will start at 6:00pm. The Cayo Music School performs at many of the cultural events around Cayo, and always impress.

It was an amazing night of music at the Benque House of Culture Friday night. Not only did Trina Basu and Arun Ramamurthy wow the audience by playing some of their favorites, but the Cayo Music School was also there, and played some great music from Belize, and Benque. The Benque House of Culture deserves a big commendation for making this concert happen.

The SISE HoC had their 3rd annual Cayo Art Festival yesterday. All of Burns avenue was turned into a celebration, with an abundance of arts and crafts on display. Events were held throughout the day, including the Sacred Heart College dancers and the Cayo Music School. In the evening, there was some spectacular live music. A Cold Day in May played, followed by Johnny and the Playmates, with Sarita Obando singing, and it ended with a phenomenal performance by Ascenthium. This should be done every Saturday!

Video of the day. The Cayo Music School had their annual recital yesterday at the Bedran Hall. They teamed up with half of Ascenthium, and performed Queen's epic Bohemian Rhapsody, and they did it right. Amazing to see such local talent.

Danny Chung got some great shots at the Belize Wildlife Conservation Network's inauguration this morning. Thanks go out to the San Ignacio Resort Hotel for all their donations and help with the BWRC, and for donating some delicious food for the event. Congratulations, DR. Isabelle on a dream come true!
"The Belize Wildlife and Referral Clinic located in Central Farm, Cayo was officially opened today October 19th. With an Inauguration Ceremony. The program of events commenced with the National Anthem performed by the Cayo Music School. Dr. Isabelle Paquet Durand, a Wildlife Veterinarian, Educator and Consultant and who is also the Founder and Director of the Clinic delivered the Welcome , Mission Objectives as well as the note of thanks. The Inauguration Address was done by Honorable LIselle Alamilla who also did the honor of cutting the ribbon."
