It is mainstream that to share a news on Twitter one should repeat it a few times, for the simple reason that your followers aren't up online on twitter all day and that they are likely to miss your great news. Via Debra Askanase

Interesting! I try not to repeat my Tweets (about a latest blog post or article) more than 3X maybe I need to rethink that! Then I try and share about other people's tweets and blogs 2X more than I do any shameless self-promotion. You know, trying to pay it forward! LOL

My feeling is, if the relationship started at school and the students are in school together, the school (as well as students and parents) has a responsiblity to that student. Particularly if the images or scandal is being further distributed via the "schoolyard network" of peers. Once the students start sharing stuff with other students I think it becomes school and parent/home terrirtory. Because the kids are all so connected via social media the lines get blurred very quickly, which is why everyone needs to be aware and vigilant. Kids just don't seem to understand that split second decision to share someting inappropriate can ruin lives and reputations almost instantly.

This article made me smile! I swear I sharpened my HTML chops with my MySpace! My 4 MySpace pages were gorgeous! Yes, I had at LEAST 4 different accounts - fictional characters , historic (Lily Langtry) and literary characters, I even had a Poison Ivy page! We had a great time communicating with each other- the literary characters -- and yes, it was my first blog! I had a GREAT rant on CSI Miami star David Caruso! LOL Were you on MySpace? What do you miss?
