It's inspiring to see how educators like Principal Micah Arrott at Pease Elementary are using AI tools to create engaging, personalized learning environments. Programs like My Math Academy and My Reading Academy are helping teachers tailor instruction to each student's needs, addressing the diverse learning levels in a classroom. Overall, I like this article because it emphasizes AI's potential to equalize educational opportunities and transform the traditional teaching methods we are used to.

In practice, Generative AI tools use different strategies for different types of data when building large data models—the complex neural networks that organize vast amounts of information. For example, those that draw on textual sources segregate individual tokens, usually words. Each token is assigned an “embedding” or “vector”: a numerical matrix representing how and where the token is used compared to others. Collectively, the vector creates a mathematical representation of the token’s meaning. An image model, on the other hand, might use pixels as its tokens for embedding, and an audio one sound frequencies. Via Edumorfosis, Nik Peachey

There is no question that integrating generative AI in K12 education is a daunting task, especially for educators. A recent research released by the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) suggested that only 9% of professors in the U.S. are using some form of modelling with technology to prepare the next generation of educators. This, in combination with teacher technology laggards, has led to the majority resisting the integration of generative AI. Via Tom D'Amico (@TDOttawa) , Nik Peachey

Losing my assets {crypto} to online scammers is one of the worst feeling i ever had.I was a victim to crypto online scams who made away with my $120,000 worth crypto (USDT) after investing with them in their platform.. Before the intervention of {ASSETS LAB} a recovery agency who helped me recoup back all the funds that was stolen from me ..
Three months ago i ran into a crypto investment platform called {GX TRADE} and they promise to assist me in crypto investment and mining and profits, after several weeks of following them on their platform where they teach their subscribers about crypto mining and investment and offering assistance to help their subscribers to make profits for them by persuading us to invest on their platform {Gx trade }.. 2 months ago i decided to invest with them , i did all the necessary requirements and agreement was reached..One week later , i went to to check on them on their platform and discovered that i cant reach them anymore on any of their platform which turns out to be a scam after so many enquirement and confirmations .. i was devastated and nearly lost my life on the process. But thanks to my friend who introduced me to {ASSETS LAB LTD} a crypto recovery agency who helped me recover every penny stolen from me by the crypto scammers after a month of submitting my case to them . Covid helped speed up a digital revolution in higher education that had previously been forecast to occur around 2030. A decade’s worth of change was ushered in practically overnight. Though the speed of this transition is admirable, given its necessity, there is still much to be done to make sure technology works for the people who navigate universities every day – students, teachers, researchers and administrative staff. This is what my colleagues and I at EY set out to investigate through our report into what each of these stakeholder groups need from technology in order to thrive. Via Edumorfosis

Effective AI integration involves the creation of bespoke, individual prompts or applications tailored to the unique needs of each person, task, and sometimes even the specific tool being used. This level of customization ensures that AI directly supports the goals and objectives of the school and its stakeholders. It’s not about preset libraries of prompts or generic solutions.

"As AI use continues to grow in classrooms, educators need to be aware of the ethics and legal concerns involved ..." Via Leona Ungerer
Timoteo Guzman's curator insight,
May 20, 5:05 PM
It's clear that AI can offer personalized learning and quick feedback, but there are important ethical and legal concerns to consider. Teachers need proper training and support to use AI effectively and must never rely solely on AI for assessing student performance. Human oversight is crucial to ensure accuracy and context. The fear of AI replacing teachers is unfounded because AI can't replicate the emotional intelligence and connections that teachers provide. Overall, while AI has great promise, educators must navigate its integration carefully to truly benefit students.
