Imagine the effects of this one especially if you're an contribution to the music industry and all you have left are your royalty checks but they no longer need you nor what you can do because it's all being done by technology so the impact would be devastating. The business would shift to more onsite studios and production vs the big leagues pushing people to find another way to continue to make a living. The success rate would drop even lower because the demand for music wouldn't be since it's all generated through technology and that's where the masses come into play and what gets heard.
