Singapore's DBS is to introduce voice biometrics to authenticate customers ringing in to its call centres by the end of the year.

Right on the heels of Citi's announcement for voice authentication of customers DBS will ring in voice authentication by end of the year. OCBC piloted late last year for similar contact center authentication.

Finextra: Using technology from UK-based biometric startup Sthaler, hundreds of Worldpay employees are trying out a new way to pay - with a scan of their finger.

WorldPay staff engaged in a POC using an extension of Hitachi's VeinID by Sthaler. POC will allow staff pay via finger-vein reader wherein finger-vein will be used for authentication against tokenized data registered to a Visa card.
