A High Court judge rules the kit supplier's marketing offer was "less favourable" than a Nike deal.

Liverpool won a legal battle that allows them to step away from a "less favourable" deal with New Balance, opening the club up to working with Nike (which will share fewer profits but provide greater overall distribution) which is expected to increase the reach and revenue of the club's gear.

News nominations: Under Armour Inc said on Tuesday its founder and long-time Chief Executive Officer Kevin Plank will step down from the role next year and be succeeded by Chief Operating Officer Patrik Frisk.

Nike wasn't the only major Sports Fashion company to announce a CEO-change this week. Under Armour's CEO and founder, Kevin Plank, is moving into a different role and will be succeeded by COO, Patrik Frisk.
